The Art Trail will feature work from Photography, Art & Design, Graphic Design and foundation level students.
Stockport College Head of Studies for Creative Arts & Media Jane Andrew said: “We are really excited to be showcasing work from some terrific up and coming talent, who will go on to become the creative workforce of the future. Instead of hosting the show on campus this year, we wanted to bring the full scope of our multi-media courses to the community, to support local businesses and give our students the attention they deserve.”
Gallery of work on display
Visitors to the art trail can expect examples of the latest techniques in print, photography, graphic design, 2D paint, 3D sculptures, fashion, moving images, animation and 3D modelling, created within the College’s state-of-the-art art studios, dark rooms and print making facilities.
Jane added: “Through the connections we’ve been making with our local communities, our students can expect even more from their college experience this year, whether that is showcasing work in more permanent exhibition spaces to gaining valuable work experience supporting local businesses.”
