BagThing is a targeted event marketing and distribution network based in Greater Manchester. They offer physical distribution alongside online exposure for Manchester’s best gigs and shows each month.
For their December edition, BagThing collaborated with our HE Level 4 Graphic Design and Illustration students to produce the front cover of their printed package which is distributed to venues and businesses across the Greater Manchester area.
This is the second year in which the project has run, with each student from the first year of the course submitting designs to be judged by staff at BagThing.
Student Tyler Davies-Knowles was the chosen winner from a highly competitive selection of superb designs across the board. Tyler’s design has been printed on 4,000 BagThing packages which have been distributed this December.
We spoke to Tyler to see how it felt to be the worthy winner of this amazing annual collaboration.

BagThing were so impressed with our students’ designs, they plan to share them via Instagram.
