This introductory practical course is for people interested in learning the basic principles and techniques of basic Painting and Decorating.
No specific qualifications, previous learning or experience is required. An initial assessment of each candidate will be made before the start of the programme to identify candidates that have any specific training needs support, credit they have accumulated and the appropriate type and level of qualification. There will be an induction programme, so the candidate fully understands the requirements of the qualification.
What you will Learn
Learners must achieve a minimum of 9 credits, 3 credits from the mandatory unit and a minimum of 6 credits from the optional units, of which 3 credits must come from Level 1 optional units. Summative assessments are undertaken by the tutor on completion of prescribed tasks.
