This Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling qualification allows motor vehicle technicians and mobile air-conditioning technicians to legally recover F-Gas (fluorinated greenhouse gas) from air conditioning systems in motor cars and vans. It is suitable for qualified motor vehicle technicians, mechanics and mobile air conditioning technicians looking to gain gas certification.

This is a 1-day course – day and time are subject to demand.
It will be used as a bolt on for existing level 3 light vehicle learners and offered out the adults working in the automotive industry who need the gas handing certificate if applicable.

Candidates are required to sit an online examination and carry out a practical skills assessment at the end of the course.

The tuition for this course is £300.00.

If you’re eligible, you will not have to pay for your level 3 qualification. The government will pay the course fees.
