Course Overview

The BTEC Higher National Certificate qualifications in Surveying is aimed at students who are looking to develop their career as a Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor. Candidates are generally already working in technician roles or ?on the tools? and this programme supports student?s development towards Surveying, Quantity Surveying and management roles within the sector.

The Level 4 BTEC Higher National Certificate provides a solid grounding in construction and the built environment, vendor accredited certification and Professional Body membership, upon which students can build, should they decide to continue their studies beyond the Certificate stage.

A two-year part time course with a one-day attendance per week on Wednesdays. Or, a one-year full time course with a two-day attendance on Wednesdays and Fridays.

All applications will be considered individual merit, however, offers will usually be based on: BTEC Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, other related Level 3 qualifications, normally 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (or numeric score of 4/5 under newly reformed GCSE grading), including Maths and English, an Access to Higher Education Diploma in a relevant area and related work experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

The course fee for Year 1 is ?3,600 and the fee for Year 2 is ?3,600.
