This programme is designed to follow the new national standards for Further and Higher Education. If you work as a trainer or want to begin teaching as a career this introductory course helps you to understand teaching methods, principles and skills required by the education sector. It is intended as a ‘taster’ and will provide you with a starting point if you wish to progress to a full teaching qualification.
This short course runs for 3 hours per week, for a total of 15 weeks.

Education & Teacher Training
The course is a taster to the full Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and will give you an understanding of the roles and of a teacher. Approaches to inclusive practice and strategies for assessing learners.
You can progress onto the Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training, or you can follow the training career path and complete the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice. You can also work towards Assessor or IQA qualifications.
The award is widely recognised in community based teaching and for companies who have a training requirement but no qualified staff.

The Tuition fee for this course is £430.00 You may be eligible for a full fee remission if you are in receipt of certain benefits or earning less than £20,888 per annum (if residing within Greater Manchester)
