Equivalent to three A Levels, this T Level specialises in the area of Therapy Occupations where you will also benefit from a minimum of nine weeks working with an employer on a work placement.

This course will cover key topics and study such as

Working within the health and science sector
Health, safety, and environmental regulations
Managing information and data
Principles of good scientific and clinical practice
Core science concepts including the structure of cells, tissues and large molecules, genetics, microbiology, and immunology
You will also learn about topics specific to health, including:

Understanding the healthcare sector
Providing person-centred care
Supporting health and wellbeing
Further knowledge of both human anatomy and
Physiology and of diseases and disorders
Infection prevention and control

On successful completion of your course you may wish to continue your studies at University or start your career in the Health and Social Care industry

Ambulance Care Assistant, Emergency Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Care Worker, Palliative Care Assistant, Dental Nurse.

You will be assessed through a combination of external examinations, a substantial employer set project and synoptic assessment through vigorous practical assignments

This course is free to study if you are aged 16-18 and have been resident in the UK and European Economic Area for the last three years. You must also be aged 19 on 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course.
