Course Overview

This specialised course will further develop skills in the effects of gravity on water and cold/heat and pressure. This course is equally helpful to those who are new to plumbing or already working in this industry. In addition, to further the development of your Health and Safety skills, you will focus on Cold, Hot and Central Heating systems before choosing whether to progress into Gas or Renewable pathways at a higher level.

To have successfully completed Level 1 Plumbing.

What you will Learn

This course is for those wanting to develop their skills and gain a Level 2 qualification. It is comprised of a combination of both practical and theory elements.

Assessment

The Level 2 Plumbing Foundation requires you to complete centre based knowledge and practical assessments designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to progress to L3 Plumbing Foundation or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.

Progression

Successful completion of this qualification will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills required for progression to complete either the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Heating.
