We have a wide range of courses available at Entry 3 and Level 1. All learners will continue to study Maths and English, employability skills and work related learning. In addition, you will have the opportunity to choose a vocational option, which you will study with industry professionals for 6 hours per week.
All classes up to and including Level 1 courses have a skilled Learning Facilitator to assist in your learning. Foundation Learning students also have access to a Mentor who is dedicated to the department.
For learners ages 16-19, our ESOL courses for young people, provide a nationally recognised qualification. Alongside your English lessons, you will also study maths, employability and study skills.
These courses provide progression to a wide range of courses at a higher level, provided you meet the entry requirements.
You will be continually assessed throughout the duration of your course.
This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are a resident in the UK and the European Economic Area or have been for the last 3 years. You must be under 19 years old on 31st August in the calendar year you start your course.
