You will learn about the ways computing hardware and software are used in business by exploring different subject areas within computing.
During the course, you will develop skills a range of subject areas including:
– Website Design
– Databases
– Microsoft Office Applications
– Communication and Presentation Skills.
You will study Maths and English language alongside your IT qualification.

Computing
The qualification is designed to be studied over one year, and on successful completion will allow you to progress onto on of our Level 3 courses.
You will apply your learning through practical assessments in the form of internally assessed assignments.
These assessments will also develop your problem higher-order and transferrable skills such as solving. organisational, and analytical skills which are highly valued within the computing industry.
You will also be encouraged to enhance your level of skills by engaging with independent study through the duration of your course.
This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and the European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
