The City and Guilds (2365) Level 2 course aims to give you the basic underpinning knowledge and practical skills required for progression to the City and Guilds (2365) Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation qualification.
This course is built on the successful completion of the following units:
– Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering
– Principles of Electrical Science
– Electrical Installations Technology
– Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
– Understand how to communicate with others within Building Services Engineering
Please note that a key component of any full time programme is work experience, therefore we advise learners applying for the course to start sourcing out potential industry related opportunities, during their time at college.
Learners who successfully meet the criteria set out in the vocational, Maths and English directives, whilst also adhering to the standards of the Stockport College code of conduct, may progress to the City and Guilds (2365) Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation course.
The completion of a variety of online multiple choice, written and practical assessments strategically planned during the academic year.
This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and ther European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on the 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
