To help you begin or improve your skills in manicure and pedicure, we offer specialist training with our experienced Beauty professionals. We have great links into the industry and our top priority is to ensure you gain a career once you have trained with us.
Learning the art of manicure and pedicure for a range of diverse clients will give you the confidence to work in the industry. Essential Health and Safety practices and client care are all part of this industry recognised qualification.
The Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a nail technician. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a nail technician including, units covering the following: providing manicure and pedicure treatments, health and safety and client care and communication.
You will also have the opportunity to further develop your understanding and skills by taking part in maintaining nail enhancements and working with others.

Course Skills & Benefits
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and nail products and equipment. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to prepare and enhance the nails and cuticles on the hands and feet using different techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

This qualification will prepare you for employment as a nail technician. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a nail technician. Career opportunities as a nail technician exist in a variety of contexts, including:
- Working in a commercial nail or beauty salon.
- Working in a retail concession nail bar.
- Working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings.
