Engineering Environment Awareness
Engineering Techniques
Engineering Mathematices and Science Principles

Specialist Units consist of:
Fitting and Assembly techniques
Manual turning techniques
Computer numerical control milling techniques

Course Requirements

4 GCSE's at Grade 4 including English Language and Mathematics

Course Skills & Benefits

This qualification has been developed to provide learners with an intermediate knowledge and understanding of the practices of engineering technology. It covers knowledge, understanding and skills that are relevant to a wide variety of careers and study routes and take a hands-on approach to basic engineering training.

Course Progression

EAL Level 3 Engineering or Level 3 BTEC in Engineering

Course Assessment

One externally set assessment/examination plus internally set and marked assignments.

Course Finance

This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and ther European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on the 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
