Course Overview
The Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Makeup and Beauty Consultancy is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in: how to apply make-up and instruction on make-up application.
To further enhance your practical skills you will have the opportunity to choose from the following practical units; how to promote products and services to clients in a salon and how to display retail stock to promote sales in the salon.
Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, how to promote client care and communication in make-up related industries. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in make-up to a high level of occupational ability and to enable you to perform your own services.

Course Requirements
4 GCSEs at Grade 3 including English and Maths at Grade 3.
If you have no qualifications then please discuss this with an expert in your interview.
Successful interview with a Hair and Make-Up Expert.
You must have an interest in the make-up industry and must demonstrate an ability to communicate and follow the professional standards set by the awarding bodies.
