Our UAL approved course is aimed at artists and designers of the future, who want to develop their drawing skills and experimentation with art and design techniques to make them a better artist. You will learn how to research, plan, produce and reflect on your work. You also cover painting and printmaking (2D), Sculpture and 3D design, Time-Based Media (Photography, Animation, Photoshop, Graphics) and Textiles/ Fashion, to give you an all-round understanding of the industry.
Course Skills & Benefits
The Diploma in Art and Design offers an accredited and certificated ‘jumping off point' at the end of year one, should students choose not to progress onto our Extended Diploma qualification.
If you choose to continue onto the second year of study, you will complete a further 4 units, which will increase the qualification to a full Extended Diploma in Art and Design, which is equivalent to 3 full A levels.
