James Lyons studied Level 3 Professional Cookery at Stockport College
After developing his skills in professional cookery at Stockport College and gaining the title of ‘Student Chef of the Year’ at the Association Culinaire Francaise competition, James was asked to join the master chef James Martin at his 5 star restaurant in Manchester to further his training and development.
During his time at Stockport College James quickly became the 'poster boy' for the catering and hospitality department for his involvement in national competitions and commitment to furthering this studies.
