BTEC & GCSE Results
Due to the ongoing situation with COVID the College is having to adopt a different approach to the distribution of exam results this year to ensure staff and students are safe and not put at risk.
Unless you have been invited on site to collect your results, please do not come to College to try and collect them. If you have been invited on site to collect your results, you will be given a specific time slot – please abide by this, and whilst on site follow the systems and guidelines that are in place.
At present we have circulated all grades that we have access to, either via mail or via email, and we continue to work with Awarding Bodies to make sure any outstanding issues are resolved. Should you still be awaiting results, please contact the College on email@example.com – and please accept our apologies for any distress that these circumstances have caused.
As you may be aware the Government has today announced that the Centre Assessed Grades awarded by the College will stand. Should you still be awaiting results, please contact the College on firstname.lastname@example.org – and please accept our apologies for any distress that these circumstances have caused.
All centre assessed grades awarded have been based on the assessment of each individual student, against a robust set of criteria. Ofqual have now confirmed that students must have a very specific reason for challenging their final qualification result. The details can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/appeal-qualification-result. If you have a query please email the details to email@example.com.
If you are unhappy with your GCSE or A level result then you will able to resit in the Autumn exam series.
We appreciate that this is always a stressful time, and is even more so under these current circumstances, so your support and understanding is appreciated. Whilst staff are not on site, we are always contactable should you have any worries or concerns - the very best of luck with your results, and your next steps on your journey.
